Modern Marrakech has taken the pink colour of its old quarters and blended this with sharp lines and higher structures. There may not be all to many examples of spectacular architecture, but modern Marrakech is attractive and deservedly popular among both locals and visitors. These quarters have many of the best hotels, restaurants and shops, too.
