   Kuwait /Defense Military service is for 2 years, but only 1 year for students. Since liberation in 1991 a larger part of the budget is allocated to military expenditures than earlier. The total military forces is limited to less than 15,000 troops, and the country relies much on defence agreements with other nations, like the USA and Russia. |
