LAAYOUNE:
The Spanish cathedral

In the area that was Laayoune during the Spanish period, most of the old buildings have been taken over by the Moroccan military. One of the few exceptions is the well kept cathedral. While it is no longer in use, it is beautiful with its white dome, and round shapes in every part.
