Dynasty of Ancient Egypt 2181-2160 BCE, 21 years. It is defined as part of the First Intermediate Period.
Modern scholars disagree over whether there ever was such a thing as an 18th Dynasty. Among ancient historians its length is stated to have been either 100 or 146 years.
Qakare Ibi is a king here that is fairly well attested, although many classify him as a 7th Dynasty. He had a small, poorly built pyramid at South Saqqara.
The last ruler of this dynasty was overthrown by the rulers that came to form the 9th Dynasty, establishing a new capital at Henen-nesw (Herakloepolis).
