Kaş is a gem of a tourist destination, fitting so many tastes perfectly at the same time. Here you will have that cute Mediterranean town, good swimming possibilities and quite a bit of ancient history scattered about.
Above the town rises the 500 metre high mountain called Sleeping Man, a reflection of its shape resembling a human figure lying in its side. Looking across the bay of Kaş is the Greek island of Megisti, which is about as east as Greece goes.
There is a special atmosphere to Kaş, people are even a bit more friendly than what is usual in Turkey.
There is no immediate beach to Kaş, but no need to panic, platforms and staircases lead you easily down to the water at many points.
