Fahs is the nearest town to Thuburbo Majus (3 km), and has by itself no attractions for a traveller. But there may be one exception, on Saturdays. On that day a market is held here which is colourful, and little destroyed by the preferences of tourists. There might not be all too much to pick up here, but walking around the area is rewarding enough.

Nothing. Spend your night in Tunis (130 km) or Zaghouan (50 km, but bad selection).

There are some adequate restaurants in town for food like omelettes and pizzas.
