BASICS:
When to Go

If you have the opportunity of visiting the Moorish sights of Spain in March, April or October you have a golden opportunity of avoiding annoying crowds and terrible heat. In particular, July and August can be a test for many. The only proper exception here is Granada at an elevation of almost 700 metres. And Sevilla is almost unbearable in mid-summer.
As mentioned, crowds can be a problem, especially in Grenada. The reason is both the popularity of the Alhambra, as well as the authorities need to control the masses and protect their heritage.
If an average maximum temperature of 20°C (ca. 70°F) sounds nice to you, Cordoba and Sevilla are best in March and November, while Granada in April and October.
Winter is also an option, it rarely gets really cold. Seeing the Alhambra covered in snow is possible between December and February.
