Tedega


Language spoken by the Toubou people, mainly in Chad and Niger, by a total of ca. 50,000. In Libya, there are about 5,000, possibly less.
It is the smallest of the Toubou languages, Dazaga has about 350,000 speakers. Tedega is the northern langauge, Dazaga the southern.
It belongs to the Nilo-Saharan language family.
Tedega has a written language, using Latin script.
