Ptah
One of the greatest gods in ancient Egyptian religion, who in many myths was the creator of the world (in other myths, other gods were responsible for creating the world), the maker of many things in the world and a mighty healer.
He was also the patron of craftsmen (an important profession in its time, since they were the ones building temples and tombs) and sculptors.
Ptah was depicted as a man in mummy form, with a skullcap and false beard.
At first, Ptah was a local deity of Memphis, making up a triad with the gods Sekhmet and Nefertem. Thanks to the importance of this city after it became the capital of Egypt, Ptah's cult spread all over Egypt.
Ptah also served in the position as mortuary god, by being in a triad with Seker and Osiris.
