King of Ancient Egypt (1427- 1400 BCE), the 7th ruler of the 18th Dynasty.
His principal achievement was to continue military campaigns in Syria, where he managed to receive the loyalty of the local chiefs. His mummy has been found in the Valley of the Kings near today's Luxor.
